---WE would not be so foolish as to as to attempt to maintain pages which we would be obliged to change on a daily basis à la Yahoo's X of the Day. -This is a small operation, after all, and we sometimes take vacations which distance us from cyberspace and sometimes we go for days without wanting to use the computer even when we're home. Besides the thing of the day things, not to mention the bit of the minute bits, etc., are being done more than adequately (if not, in fact, to death) all over the web. -Often these operations take on the aspect of the carnival stunt. However, we are interested in putting up a nunber of selections which will be chabged from time to time as the spirit moves.- It seems appropriate to choose "the moment" as the unit of measure which will govern these changes, precisely because it is an indeterminate standard. -Clearly, different items merit our attention for different periods of time; we will try not to let our convenience become the sole arbiter of the development of these pages.
